About Us

The Woady Yaloak Football Netball Club is a Junior Club.  It was established in 2019 on the back of a desire to provide opportunities for the growing regions of Haddon,  Smythesdale, Ross Creek and Scarsdale to play football and netball within their local community.

In 2021 we were pleased to have transitioned from competing on invitation to becoming an affiliate club of the Ballarat Football Netball League (BFNL).

We were incredibly proud to play our first game of U9’s Football in 2021in the BFNL and have expanded our teams every year since.

With the population in the West of Ballarat exploding over the last 5 years, we are now proud to be called the home club for many children not only from our original catchment area, but also areas like Lucas, Winter Valley, Bonshaw, Smythes Creek, Cardigan Village and more!  Our home ground is only a 12 minute drive from Delacombe Town Centre (DTC) – so an easy commute from these locations.   We welcome players from all over!

·         Our community is friendly and inclusive.  We believe that all children have the right to access quality competitive sport, and we provide a supportive setting to help your child be the best player that they can be.

·         We keep our fees low (we are the lowest in the League) and offer payment plans to support families allow their kids to be able to play.

·         Our Club is part of the BFNL – this is the top competition around town where your kids will play against others their own age, unlike other competitions where children can be mixed ages.

·         As a new and growing club we are still in our building phase.  That means your child won’t have the challenge of getting a game that can happen at some of the older clubs around town where they have affiliate families and long waiting lists.

·         Our Woady coaches are dedicated and we’re seeing success on and off the field year on year as we grow our skills and commitment.   We are passionate and strive for everyone to play their best.

·         Fun activities off the field each year with team bonding days, our annual trip to the AFL or Vixens, our annual fundraising ‘event’ for parents and friends, professional coaching and so much more!!!
